ARTICLE: California Not Alone in Mounting Pension Liabilities

PRINTThe L.A. Times reports that California is one among many states that are downtrodden by a $1-trillion budget shortfall due to outrageous pension plans. As the article explains, though the shortfall will be nearly impossible to make up now, it can be greatly improved by cutting benefits for new employees.
