VIDEO: Public Pension Debate Exposes Union Lies

On a recent TV segment devoted to the California budget crisis, Fox Business host John Stossel got an earful of lies from a public union spokesman. When asked why policemen and firefighters deserved a lifetime pension, the union rep cited the early death rate of employees in these dangerous professions. As it turns out, there’s no difference in mortality. But the lifetime pensions add up to a huge unfunded liability for the state.
